For the 7th year in a row, Ideal Concepts employees, friends, and family members participated in our annual Holiday Gift Drive benefiting local children and families in need! At least 49 individuals and families came together to provide gifts for 106 children residing at Bethany Children’s Home and the Children’s Home of Easton.
These generous donors helped provide approximately $7,000 in holidays gifts for every child at Bethany and the Children’s Home of Easton!
Since 2015, Ideal Concepts has provided gifts for kids at Bethany Children’s Home (BCH) in Womelsdorf, PA. Bethany, established in 1863, provides a safe and nurturing living environment for children who are unable to be in their own homes. While BCH historically has hosted children as young as 5 years old, right now the kids range from 12-20 years old.
As the company expands, so does our ability to donate! Last year, Ideal Concepts added the Children’s Home of Easton (CHE) to our list of recipients. Originally “The Easton Home for Friendless Children” in 1885, CHE provides food, clothing, and shelter for kids without a home. Today, kids ages 2 to 20 are placed in the home.
Ideal Concepts employees, friends, and family members voluntary to chose at least one child at either home. The gender, age, clothing sizes, interests, and wish list items were provided for most kids, allowing us to pick out personalized gifts like books, toys, clothing, etc. that will be special to the children.
