Ideal Concepts' Plans for Returning to the Offices

A message from Ideal Concepts' President regarding the company's latest plans for returning to the offices in 2021

To Ideal Concepts Employees,

I just wanted to take a minute to update you all regarding our plans in relation to COVID-19. As you know, when we closed the offices back on March 13th, we had no permanent or long-term plans beyond setting up everyone to work from home. We somewhat updated those plans on July 23rd, letting you know offices are closed until at least Q1 2021, but that we would be tracking the pandemic situation and updating our plans as necessary. As COVID-19 numbers continue to rise, and local government restrictions seem imminent, I believe it’s reasonable to confirm that we are moving that timeline back further.

Offices will continue to be closed for the foreseeable future. We will only consider reopening the offices once a successful vaccine for COVID-19 is readily and widely available to the public. At this point, it looks like that won’t be until at least Q2 of 2021. That doesn’t mean we will definitely and immediately return; We will only begin consideration at that time. Ideal Concepts’ goal in regards to COVID-19 has always been the health and safety of all of our employees and their loved ones, and we will continue to make decisions concerning the pandemic with that in mind.

On a technology note, you may have heard through the grapevine we are obtaining laptops for all employees. IT is working on that, but of course there are widespread shortages as a result of COVID. We will update everyone on that when we have more information. In the meantime, thank you for working with IT to update your current equipment and security measures.

I also want to take this time to thank you all for your continued hard work and dedication. This year has been challenging, not just because of COVID-19 and the implications of a worldwide pandemic, but also due to our extreme growth, added remote technology needs, and various major projects within the company. All of Ideal Concepts’ teams have risen to the challenge with admirable grace, determination, and as much ease as humanly possible. We’ve been offered more opportunities from health and Medicare carriers than ever before, but with that brings a larger workload than we’ve ever faced. We’ve grown to 150+ employees, during a worldwide pandemic, working completely remotely- not an easy feat. With this growth and the unique situation of this year has come new technologies, policies, procedures, etc. Every employee has been asked to step up and take on more responsibility, and you’ve not only met each trial, but knocked it out of the park!

I want to end this update with a “Thank you” for your continued commitment to Ideal Concepts’ company mission: “To provide flawless solutions with remarkable service to every client.” Whether you’re interacting with agents, outside vendors, clients, or each other, that mission has been at the heart of our every move, and I’m extremely proud of that. Your individual contributions put us one step closer to achieving the company’s vision to become the largest transactional insurance marketing company in the world.

I hope you have a great work week, and if I don’t get a chance to say this before Thanksgiving, a wonderful holiday (however you choose to spend it this year)!
