The Inc. 5000, put out by Inc. Magazine, annually ranks the country’s top 5000 fastest-growing private companies, according to percentage revenue growth over a 3-year period.
With a staggering 864% jump in revenue from 2014 to 2017, Ideal Concepts is ranked in the top 11% of listed companies, and is considered #6 among insurance-related businesses. American Insurance Organization ranked in the top 14% of companies nationwide this year (#12 among insurance-related businesses) with 687% in revenue growth.
As Inc. Magazine Editor in Chief James Ledbetter noted, “Making the list gets harder every year as your starting base grows.” He went on to say of Ideal Concepts’ and AIO’s achievements: “Of the tens of thousands of companies that have applied to the Inc. 5000 over the years, only a fraction have made the list more than once. A mere one in three have the made the list 2 times.”
Ideal Concepts and AIO are included in the wide-ranging “Insurance” category, which covers a varied assortment of business concentrations- including all aspects and lines of insurance like financiers, adjusters, warrantors, and property & casualty lines of insurance marketers, among a plethora of other focuses.
In the broad “Insurance” category, Ideal Concepts ranked #6 in the nation for growth, and is the #1 ranked individual health insurance focused sales organization in the country.
Of the top ten companies listed in this vastly diverse category, Ideal Concepts ranks #5 in the country by total revenue for 2017.
Ideal Concepts president and founder John Pequeno said, “We are so excited to once again top this list, and are very pleased to have achieved #579, the highest we’ve ever ranked. We’ve worked especially hard during these past three years- some of the most difficult and tumultuous years in individual health insurance- as regulations often change day-to-day.”
Mr. Pequeno continued, “I’m proud of my whole team’s ability to adapt, adjust, and excel at a time when many others in our sometimes volatile industry may have shied away from expansions due to political upheaval. While the industry may seem to constantly be under siege, we have found ways to make ourselves indispensable to our carrier partners and individual clients.”
Of all Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton, PA and NJ companies to make the list, Ideal Concepts ranks #2 in revenue percentage growth. Of all Pennsylvania companies to make the list, Ideal Concepts ranks #16. For a complete list of all Inc. 5000 companies nationally, click here. Check out Ideal Concepts' Inc. 5000 profile here.
