Ideal Concepts, Inc. was recognized as a Business of the Year finalist for 2018 by Lehigh Valley Business in the 25 to 100 employee category. Over 300 business professionals attended the award ceremony at DeSales University in Center Valley, PA.

Michael O’Rourke, publisher of Lehigh Valley Business, told the crowd, “We are here tonight to celebrate great achievement; the achievement of doing something meaningful and full of purpose so that the end result is one of economic gain and jobs. We are in a room full of folks who measure success by talking about profits, employee satisfaction, and community service.”

A distinguished panel of judges from across the region selected the Business of the Year finalists and winners based on their extraordinary contributions to the Greater Lehigh Valley business community. Mr. O’Rourke said, “Ideal Concepts, Inc. has seen its revenue growth jump more than 800 percent from 2014 to 2017, and its growth from there is expected to remain at the same pace. That’s amazing! As a result, they secured a spot on the Inc. 5000 list for the third year in a row and also repeatedly been named a top national producer by many insurance carriers.”

Ideal Concepts President John Pequeno said of the nomination, “It was exciting for Ideal Concepts to be named a finalist for Business of the Year! We’re honored to have our hard work over the past year recognized by Lehigh Valley Business. We have big plans for 2019, and are grateful to have the support of our Lehigh Valley community as we continue to work towards our goals of becoming the number one provider of individual health, life, and Medicare products in the country.”

This is the second time Ideal Concepts was recognized by Lehigh Valley Business at their Business of the Year event. In 2015, the company was named The Business of the Year in the “Small Business” category (1-25 employees).
