Ideal Concepts, Inc. an Inc. 5000 company and a 2017 Top Workplace In Lehigh Valley, is seeking a talented content writing coordinator with a desire to become a part of a rapidly growing health insurance marketing and technology company. We have become a national leader in health insurance sales, and we would like to continue expanding our reach across the country. Ideal Concepts’ rapid growth necessitates an expanded marketing department. We are looking for a full time content coordinator to manage content creation, publication, and promotion across several channels. The right candidate will be a vital part of our marketing, social media, and public relations strategies. He/she will be a major part of “the voice of Ideal Concepts”, and work within a skilled marketing team to create and distribute engaging, high quality content. We are looking for a self-motivated, creative, and intelligent team player who is highly invested in the success of the company. The right candidate will be coachable, will fit into the existing company culture, and will hold themselves responsible and accountable for meeting goals and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
  • Creating engaging, high quality, content
  • Long form articles, blog posts, press releases, listicles, Q&A content, infographics, ad copy, video, radio spots, etc.
  • Managing, and giving feedback on, a content calendar
  • Working with other marketing professionals on specific content needs
  • Brainstorming new types of content and new publication channels.
Requirements:
  • 0-1 years of content creation/”writing for the web”
  • Experience managing to a content calendar
  • Creative writing, journalism, or English background
  • Deep understanding of the creative writing process
  • Thorough knowledge of common digital content-related tools
  • Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Adobe suite, stock photo resources, etc.
  • Basic understanding of search engine optimization (SEO), pay per click (PPC) ad creation, and email marketing principles
  • Basic understanding of the health insurance and Medicare industries a plus
  • B.A. degree in a relevant field
