Position: Staff Recruiting Manager

We're looking for a Staff Recruiting Manager to manage our staff recruiting team vertical as well as participate in active recruiting efforts.

Our Staff Recruiting Manager will coordinate and implement all active and passive recruiting systems within the in-house staff recruiting vertical. The qualified candidate will utilize tracking systems to monitor and record recruiting activities, determine eligibility of staff candidates, and implement multiple active recruiting systems. This individual will be tasked with setting up and utilizing innovative sourcing strategies and networks to grow a diverse pipeline of candidates, while identifying process improvements to enhance the recruiting process. A primary focus of this role will be to establish and manage a dedicated and successful College/Career fair recruiting practice.

The Staff Recruiting Manager will be personally responsible for second level interviews for all staff roles. Typically, only the final interview for a position would be handled by a hiring manager. This role will be responsible for all corporate staff hiring, including Managers, Recruiters, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Administrative, IT, Engineering, Compliance and Customer Service positions. Overall, this role will be responsible for setting up processes and systems for all staff recruiting efforts, managing other recruiters, and handle all staff recruiting needs.

The right individual will have managed other recruiters, be technology savvy, have a data/metric driven mindset, have excellent leadership and coordination skills, and be self-motivated and driven to help the company achieve its aggressive expansion goals.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff recruiting vertical and all staff recruiters
  • Research, decide on, and implement systems and processes to help the recruiting department work more efficiently.
  • Setup, train on, and utilize effective sourcing and talent acquisition strategies that attract qualified candidates.
  • Participate in and drive all face to face interviews for corporate hiring
  • Establish a dedicated and effective College/Career fair recruiting program
  • Participate in active recruiting efforts
  • Conduct strategy meetings and keep the recruitment process relevant.
  • Advertise positions internally and externally, accurately reflecting the opportunities and expectations of Ideal Concepts.
  • Screen and interview potential candidates.
  • Test candidates to meticulously select top talent who will help our company grow.
  • Develop a broad knowledge of the insurance industry and deep understanding of the company.

 Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field of study
  • 5 years of corporate recruiting experience for professional positions.
  • 4 years Recruiting Management experience, with direct supervision of recruiters.
  • Experience conducting thorough face to face interviews
  • Experience with college and career fair recruiting programs
  • IT recruiting experience preferred
  • Excellent leadership and coordination skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience in product comparison and establishment of candidate source strategy
  • Strong computer skills and experience utilizing applicant tracking systems
  • Self-motivated, high attention to detail and open to working additional hours as necessary
